Dryer Balls
Dryer Balls! Have you seen these?
These plastic or vinyl spiked balls are supposed to soften and fluff up fabric.
You add these 2 reusable balls to the dryer with your laundry.
They are supposed to eliminate the need for a fabric softener sheet.
I've seen them on TV from about 6 to 10 bucks, and the internet has listed to upwards
of 12 bucks.
There's no way in hell I would play 12 dollars for these things.
They look like dog toys! I'll admit, I am curious to see if they work.
I was the Dollar Tree dollar store recently and I found them, Dryer Balls!
Since the idea of spending a Dollar and getting ripped off is easier to deal with, so I bought 2 packs.
Thats 4 dryer balls. I figure I'll test them.
If they work with 2, great! I'll have extra balls.
That'll give me four balls. If two balls doesn't work, I'll double up and use all 4 of my balls.
Hopefully, I'll only need to use 2 of my balls.
It would be good to have an extra set of balls, just in case I need them.
I'm making a video with my results. We'll see.

SunChips Loud 100% Compostable Bag. Revisited
Evidently, I wasn't the only one who thought the bag was loud as hell.
Facebook group and the Today show did a story on it.
Loud as a subway car. 95 decibels!.....
Here's the Facebook page-

Here's my stupid video I made about a month ago-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkxszvyHtxg
The bag is supposed to degrade in a landfill, it takes around 14 weeks.
That's not bad considering...
I like SunChips even though the bag is Stupid Loud.....
Still delicious.

Thriftstore Find- $5.00 Columbia Windbreakers.
I enjoy windbreakers and other stuff..
I enjoy Columbia Windbreakers and Jackets.
The prices can be high, but the quality is there.
You'll have a decent jacket for years.
Our weather in Tidewater Virginia is pretty mild in the winter months.
The most time I spend outside is going from the car to the building for work.
The process repeats at the end of the day.
That doesn't facilitate me needing a big Ole cold weather jacket.
A good windbreaker with a hood is all I need.
When I picked up the $.99 cent dresser, I also picked up both Columbia windbreakers.
These two jackets together, cost me $5.00
I've picked up Columbia sportswear shirts at the Thrift store before.
I generally keep an eye out for them.
Once, I bought a shirt with fish on it for $2.00.
It still had the label and price tag on it.
$59.00 for a shirt!
The fish were cool and all, not that cool though..
I paid $2.00 heck ya!

| 2 for 5 Columbia Jackets |

I'll find more with other colors.
You can find expensive outdoors sportwear
crap for cheap. If you look for it.
The summer is a good time to find these
jackets.
It's 90 degrees outside, who's looking at jackets anyway?
I am, and I like these.

Thriftstore Find- $.99 cent Dresser
Got to put Omi's truck to the test. Thanks Omi..
I needed a dresser. We moved and my clothes are piled up on my Mom's old recliner.
Which is very comfortable by the way. Good naps.
Found this at the Thrift store. Dirt Cheap. 99 Cents!
Not even a buck! For 99 cents- this dresser isn't bad.
The color was terrible, many coats of bad paint.
I decided not to sand it.
The paint color was Bad,Very Bad!!
So with some green paint, and some new hardware, I will make it look better.
Very Nice.
2 hours later.....
So after adding some Thrift Store Hardware for $2.99 bought at the same place and a quick coat of paint, here's what the Dresser looks like.
So far I've spent $10.00 on the dresser.
Green Spray paint. $4.00
Hardware-$2.99
Dresser- $.99
Gas- about $2.00...
It's ugly.. But it'll do pig, it'll do.
Here's a crappy picture. (I'll clean up my mess later.)

TmobileBOGO
Got the SAMSUNG VIBRANT from Tmobile.
I've been using the Android based phone operating system for about 2 and 1/2 years now.
The G1 has been my phone and I was sad to see it go. The Vibrant has the best screen I've seen so far. Super Amoled is what they call it. I call it fantastic. I think the phone will be a good replacement.
Went to TMobile in Asheville North Carolina, did the buy one get one free deal. In and out and the TMobile Rep was very nice. She gets 10's from me. Very good experience.
I'm not trying to review the phone...Just saying I like it.

Thriftstore Find
So I use my laptop in the kitchen quite often. Everyday actually.
The kitchen has a bar area in front of a nice window and makes for a large desk area.
It's great, make coffee, check email and do the other routine morning stuff, we all do.
Laptop speakers are never any good, too small and the sound quality is usually ass.
So, I decided to get some speakers.
These aren't my primary computer speakers.
So the idea of spending at least $30.00 for speakers, just to listen to the occasional YouTube or other useless viral clip on the net, not so appealing...
So the Thrift Store was a place to check.
I found some older but new (according to the grease pencil) Altec Lansing ACS22 computer speakers.
$6.98 for a decent 2 piece computer speaker system albeit, in 2007.
Quick search on Amazon has some used for 25 bucks. That's a sucker price for sure.
They sound good for being plugged into the laptops headphone jack.
Here's a picture.
