This weather station is made by Omnitech. I picked it up from the Thriftstore.
It has a base station and a remote sensor.

It has the ability to add up to 3 remote sensors.

It has humidity for inside and outside and barometric pressure and it gives you the "feels like" temp.

It also has graphics for current weather conditions as well as lunar phases.

It has a color LCD and an alarm clock. It's pretty nifty.

One thing I like- it toggles between inside readings and outside readings.

Has a range of about 90 feet.. I like it..

Decide to paint the porch...Memorial Day.

Painting the cement porch has been on my list of things to do..
I decided to go ahead and paint it with a "Floor and Utility Paint" Light Gray Semi Gloss from Lowes.
It runs about $19.00 a gallon.. A gallon will give 2 good coats on the porch and the lower half of the house.

It also will have an instant effect..

It will make it look better.

Better is good....

I installed this Honeywell RTH2310 digital thermostat in about 10 mins.

Fast, easy to install and easy to program, I think this Honeywell will save me some money on heating and cooling.
I like the backlight and the Energy Star pre programmed schedule is supposed to save around 33% on the energy bill.

We'll see.

I picked this up from Lowes Home Improvement for $29.99. on sale.

Not too bad. Amazon.com has it for around the same price.

Painted my porch...

So I decided to paint my cement porch with some gray paint from Lowes.
I used a wire brush to remove most of the flaking olde paint.
I also pressure washed it.
The paint was cheap.
Plus this is a project with instant results.
Less than 19.00.
I used a thick knap roller and got busy.
I wound doing the bottom half of the house too.
A gallon will give me two coats. I'll do the second coat after I paint the house white..
