How to-Paint a plastic box with Rustoleum Hammered Paint.

I have this cool box. I'm going to be using it on my camera stabilizer rig.
I wanted to give it a different look, and to remove the old logo.
I decided to use one of my favorite paints.
Rustoleum Hammered Silver / Aluminum.
It gives a cool hammered texture and it's easy to use.
I like to reuse things and this box is good enough to reuse.
I'm going to add it to my film making kit.

Cheap Microphone! Audio Technica ATR 6250 Or ATR 25 (with test)

I picked up the Audio Technica ATR 6250 (ATR25) for a really good price off Amazon.
Refurbished at $19.99 with free shipping (Beach Camera).
I don't know how long that will last.
I don't usually have a problem with refurbished stuff. I have been fortunate.
I am impressed at this microphones overall quality. It's dirt cheap and better than the camera's on board microphones.
It should have pretty good audio quality, overall but especially for YouTube.
The normal price varies, but I've seen them around $32.00 - $38.00 At $19.99 I figured I'd try..
Satisfied so far.
There you go- a decent dirt cheap microphone..
I did a quick audio test as well.
If you need a general microphone that's better than the your camera's on board microphone, this will work.

Really Cheap Microphone Holder for Camera "L" Bracket or PVC Stabilizer ...

This is the cheapest Microphone holder that I could find.
It works with the Camera "L" Bracket.
It also will work with PVC Camera Stabilizer rigs.
You can use it for a microphone or- If you decide to use an LED Flashlight as a camera light,, you can use this too. It's what it was anyway...

Camera Flash Bracket or L Bracket from the $100.00 Film Making Kit (Review)

Here's the bracket that was in the $100.00 Film Making Kit.
It's actually pretty good quality..
Seems very sturdy.
It's going to act as a camera stabilizer and also hold the
video camera light and microphone. Wasn't very expensive..

How to add a filter, lens hood or wide angle lens a Canon Vixia HF- R10.

My $100 Film Making Kit includes a lens hood and a wide angle lens adapter.
I'm going to use them with my Canon Vixia HF-R10 camcorder.
Just one problem, my camera has no filter threads on the front.
I took the step up ring, modified the threads and with a little sanding and expoy, Booyah!
The Canon now has filter threads!
I can now add a filter, lens hood, wide angle lens or whatever to the front of my camera.
This process should also work on other camera's that have no front filter threads.
This video is very long. It's my longest video ever! I apologize. I'll be testing the camera a little later..

$4.00 Dead Cat-Test (with bonus dog attack)

I had some wind today and decided to do a quick test with $4.00 dead cat / wind muff / microphone cover.
My dog Ben, was hanging out with me in the backyard.
He's my helper.
Sometimes not a very good one : )
The end result of the $4.00 Dead cat, is to wrap it at least 2x's.
Maybe 3.. $3.00 worth of material I got from the craft store should be more than plenty..

$4.00 Dead Cat / Wind Muff / Microphone Cover

Happy New Year's!
Here's a very quick, very cheap dead cat.
Or Microphone cover if you prefer.
Or Wind Muff.
It's going to block the wind or stray noises from the microphone.
Hopefully it will keep the audio clean...
